Handley Breaux Designs | Kinsey & Clayton

Kinsey & Clayton had a gorgeous wedding at Kinsey’s family’s river house in early October. This wedding screamed “boho summer”, and we loved every single detail! We’ve been lucky enough to work with the Martin family to plan both Kinsey’s wedding but also her brother’s. They truly are the sweetest family! From the very beginning Kinsey really wanted to have her wedding at the family’s river house so we set out to make sure we could feasibly make it happen — and we did! Thank you so much to our fabulous vendor team who worked tirelessly alongside us!

Clayton had the coolest shoe choice — Nike Blazers. He was such a stud and his style was so fun.

Kinsey was the cutest bride. She smiled the entire day and you could see how happy she was. She was glowing all day.

Kinsey chose to do a first look with her father which made for one of the most special moments of the day. Look at his face! You could see how proud he was and how sweet their relationship is.

Her bridal party was so excited to see Kinsey in her dress. She did a first look with them too!

We wanted to make sure the florals at this wedding reflected the southern charm and the outdoors that their day encompassed. Greenery accented the bouquet and blush roses were a focus. Handley found inspiration from a European wedding blog utilizing pampas grass in the main design elements and Kinsey LOVED it! We were so excited and loved how it came together.

When your wedding is by the river, how can you NOT take a cruise?

The happy couple’s reception was relaxing for everyone. We wanted to make sure that their guest had a place to sit down if they wanted to rest, and we loved how these couches looked!! They were a beautiful focal point!

One of our very favorite details of the entire wedding was the unique use of florals. These added a dimension to the wedding that was complete unique. We had never used these before and fell in LOVE with them when we saw the finished product.

The reception was a tent off of a party barn, which made the whole space feel so intimate. Something magical about the late afternoon and that golden light!

Both the Bride’s cake and the Groom’s cake were decorated to fit the rest of the evening. They were minimal and gorgeous!

The happy couple honored their family by having framed wedding photos of family members at the sign in table.

The centerpiece was a giant installation of pampas grass, and it was one of the coolest things we have ever seen at a wedding. It was so unique and the brought a warm feeling to the dance floor. We seriously wish we had this hanging in our office!
