Handley Breaux Designs | Antiques at the Gardens 2017 Tastemaker Panel

'Tis the Season for Antiques at the Gardens! It is really our favorite week of the year, and its here! This year, Handley is the chair for the Tastemaker Panel Luncheon. We have a great event planned with a pretty great gift bag. You can get your tickets here. Tickets are $30 and include lunch. Lynn Terry of Southern Home will be moderating the panel. During the panel, Lynn will ask the Tastemakers different questions to explore their different takes on the design industry and their design methods. At the end, guests will be able to ask the Tastemakers their own questions. The Panel will be this Friday, October 6 at 12:30.

This year we have a fabulous group of Tastemakers, and we can't wait for everyone to meet them! See below for more information about them.

A big thank you to our gift bag sponsors: Botaniko, Aviate, Dixie Design Co,. Gaines Family Farmstead, Sprout & Pour, Cookie Fix, Cotton & Quill, MPower. We have food provided by Cashio's Meatball Market, Savoie Catering, and Zoe's Kitchen. It is going to be great and we can't wait to see you all there!

Corbett Scott & Chad Graci teamed up as Tastemakers for this year's show. They are both visiting Birmingham from New Orleans, and we're so happy to have them. They both share a love of architecture and interiors and how the relationship between the two marries to create a beautiful home.

Katherine Bramlett is exploding on the design scene here in Birmingham. As the youngest Tastemaker this year, her booth is definitely not one to miss! She has a young, fresh perspective with an appreciation for antiques as well.

You all might recognize Mary Catherine Folmar from her storefront Cotton & Quill in Crestline Village. Her bright and cheerful designs have been featured in publications all over the country and most recently at the Hamptons Classic horse show -- how awesome?! Handley has worked with her on many small design projects and is super excited she's among the Tastemakers this year.

At the helm of the outdoor garden installation at this year's show is John Wilson with GoLightly Landscape Architects. He specializes in high-end residential garden design and has designed areas all over the country. He has even worked on the team that helped design the new U.S. Embassy in Barbados! We are lucky to have his talent with us this year!

You may recognize Ashley from her recent pilot episode of her show Sweet Home Renovation on HGTV. Ashley Gilbreath is one of our Tastemaker's joining us from Montgomery. If you missed it -- be sure to catch it! Her design perspective is best described that interiors need to be beautiful and livable at the same time. We are very excited to have her!
